FAQ

How is parking risk scored?

We cross-reference the TAPA and IRU theft-hotspot maps, your route, your cargo value, and your planned overnight stops. Each leg is rated low / medium / high — high-risk legs get specific recommendations for IRU-certified secure parking within 50 km.

Is unsecured roadside parking ever acceptable?

For low-value bulk cargo on regional lanes, yes — operationally typical. For pharmaceuticals, electronics, tobacco, or anything in the TAPA top-10 categories, no — insurers commonly void coverage for unsecured overnight stops with those commodities.

What does Remo&Co provide on top of the plan?

Pre-booked secure parking with confirmation numbers, real-time GPS supervision overnight, and a driver protocol (where to call if there is a knock on the cab). For high-value loads we also arrange police-checkpoint check-ins on certain corridors.
