Why this tool exists

It gives shippers and operations teams a lane-specific paperwork checklist before pickup, delivery, or customs work starts.

How it works

  1. Enter the lane and cargo details.
  2. The tool checks required freight paperwork against practical road-freight rules.
  3. Use the result to collect documents before pickup.

FAQ

Is this checklist exhaustive for customs?

It covers the standard documents for intra-EU and EU-to-third-country road freight — CMR, commercial invoice, packing list, EUR.1 or origin declaration where applicable. Country- or commodity-specific paperwork (phyto, dangerous goods, dual-use) is flagged separately when your inputs trigger it.

Why does the list change based on my inputs?

Origin/destination, incoterm, and cargo type each unlock different document requirements. EXW out of Switzerland pulls T2 and import-VAT paperwork; DAP into Norway requires border-broker pre-clearance; ADR adds the dangerous-goods note.

When should Remo&Co handle the documents instead?

First-time customs corridors, T1 transit lanes, or any shipment where missing paperwork would block the truck at a border. Generating the checklist is free — the operational cost of a stranded trailer is not.
